Halal Buffet

Well, to say the least its a hard find for such a buffet where its been certified halal. And places such as S*****'s food kind of sucky even though its priced very cheapy.

Luckily, we came across this place at Furama City Centre, Tiffany cafe. Nothing very special about this place other than its halal.

The food selection wise is quite standard, the quality wise is rather inconsistent. For example, the boiled prawns are very fresh whereas the oat prawns and black pepper ones are rather old which you can tell by the texture and the way the fresh sticks to the shell. Even though, the prawns are flavored but using not so fresh prawns is a definite no no.

I do have some compliments for the food, the salmon for example, its sliced according to the texture so that it would not have that rough texture when you bite on it. Kudos to the chef.

Oh before I end this, the durian puree is kind of weird as its a mixture of durian and coconut milk which in the earlier portion went badly wrong as the coconut was overwhelming.
